In Case of Emergency

Telephone calls after hours should be limited to emergencies only. If you have a problem that cannot wait until morning, you should call the home of your pediatrician. Your call may be answered via voicemail, which will provide information about contacting the doctor on call for the evening or weekend.

Patients are seen by appointment only. Regular office hours are Monday through Friday,  8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. On weekends, the office is open Saturday morning for illness visits only. Saturday office hours vary with doctors. Please call the office to verify Saturday times. Time is available each day for acute illnesses.  Please call with a brief history so we will know how best to schedule your appointments.

We prefer to schedule appointments based upon individual needs  and strive to not keep patients  waiting.  Please be prompt for your appointment.  We will do our best to be on time, but occasionally emergencies and other unexpected events may cause us to fall behind.  If we are more than 15 minutes behind we will try to explain the situation so that you can determine whether you would like to reschedule.

Routine Physicals

Yearly wellness visits are essential to provide your child with the best possible pediatric care. Each visit includes a developmental, nutritional, social, and physical assessment. For the first two years the visits are timed around the immunizations. After age three the visits are annual. Routine physicals should be scheduled two to four months in advance.

Travel Tips

We advise all parents with any child under the age of 18 to travel with either a copy of the child's birth certificate, passport or immunization record.  This would hold true for domestic or international travel.

Telephone Calls

If your doctor has an early morning phone time, you may call to discuss any type of problem or concern. Parents can use this time for voicing concerns prior to a scheduled well visit, gaining insight as to feeding, discipline, toilet training, daycare, etc. Your doctor will give you his/her home phone number and phone time schedule.

The doctors give medical advice during office hours. When you call, the medical receptionist will carefully transcribe your concerns in a note to your doctor. The doctor will review the note and instruct the receptionist or nurse to advise you accordingly. Insurance and billing questions will be accepted between 10:00 am and 4:00 pm.

School and Camp Forms
