Updated Appointment Policies

Here at Meridian Pediatrics, our physicians, nurses, and staff remain here for you and your family during these unprecedented times and are taking additional measures to keep your family's health our top priority. For additional information, please call our office.

Well Exam Appointments

  • We are scheduling well exam appointments and sick appointments for different parts of the day;
  • If your child has had a fever within the last 72 hours, please call our office prior to your appointment;
  • If anyone in your home has any sick symptoms prior to your well exam appointment, call our office before coming for your appointment so that our clinical staff may screen you;
  • Only one healthy parent is allowed to bring a patient to an appointment (please call our office with any questions or concerns);
  • We strongly discourage parents or caregivers who are considered at higher risk for COVID-19 (the elderly, people with pre-existing medical conditions) from coming to our office;
  • We ask that siblings who don't have appointments do not accompany the patient to the appointment;
  • We require that anyone 3 years of age and older entering our office wears a mask;
  • Our waiting area has been spaced to allow families checking in or waiting for their appointment to remain at least 6 feet apart of each other;
  • Our waiting area is thoroughly cleaned and sanitized daily.

Sick Appointments

  • We are asking our sick patients to call our office when they arrive in our parking lot and remain in their cars until we call them in for their appointments;
  • Our nurses and staff are meeting patients arriving for sick appointments at the exit door in our building's main lobby (to the left of our main office doors);
  • We are triaging all sick appointment requests before scheduling appointments;
  • Only one healthy parent is allowed to bring a patient to an appointment (for newborn appointments and well exams for multiple children, a second healthy parent or caregiver may attend);
  • We ask that siblings who don't have appointments do not accompany the patient to the appointment;
  • We require that anyone 3 years of age and older entering our office wears a mask;
  • We are offering telemedicine appointments for certain types of visits (more information is available on our blog).

Immunization Records Online

You may now access your child's immunization record by visiting www.myvaxindiana.in.gov.  Before going to the website, please contact our office for your child's PIN #.  You will need this before you can access their record.  The only information stored on this website is your child's name, DOB, home address, and a contact person.  You can access this website at any time.  Hopefully, this will help our parents getting a copy of their child's immunization record without having to make a trip into the office.
